About WebMechanix & This Position

WebMechanix is a start-up internet marketing company located near Baltimore. We help companies increase their visibility online; increase eyeballs, increase leads, increase customers, and increase revenues.

Essentially, we help our clients make money online.

The office is fast-paced, goal-focused, and performance-driven, yet casual and fun at the same time. We take a lot of pride in the work that we do and the results that we deliver to clients.

There is a three month training program that you must complete before graduating to “RockStar” status. The program is comprehensive, and will pretty much teach you what you need to know from the ground up.

This is a ridiculous opportunity for the right candidate.

It will be a mixture of time spent working here in our office as part of our team, and time spent working independently, which you can do at your house, the Starbucks, Barnes & Noble, or Puerto Rico (anywhere that you have access to the internet).

The skills that we teach are nearly impossible to learn by yourself. They’re not taught in schools. And there is a starving crowd of businesses that will literally throw money at you to teach them.

This experience will make you a real online marketer, a more valuable employee, a better consultant. It’s incredibly valuable.

Job Description & Requirements

This position will consist of a variety of different types of activities and is a bit difficult to define in just a brief job description.

The main activities will be closely tied to your writing skills – the candidate will have to research topics that they may not be familiar with, learn about them, and then subsequently write about them.

Since we’re a web-based company, the candidate will likely get some exposure to programming languages like HTML & CSS. Experience in these areas would be a plus.

The main service that we offer is called “SEO” or search engine optimization, which you will be learning about as well. This is a new type of marketing that is in high-demand right now.

The candidate must have very strong research and copywriting skills. This isn’t writing in the traditional sense of the word. It’s not college-essay-style writing. It’s more casual, writing for the web, which is easily learned.

A creative yet analytical mindset is a must and they must also have their own transportation and functioning laptop computer.

Compensation

Cash compensation during the three month training period is $500/week. If you make it through, you will be eligible for benefits and promoted quickly.

This experience will grant you the knowledge necessary to break into the ever growing world of web marketing (and be a phenomenal resume builder too).
