Website and Email Hosting is when a website is attached to and lives on (is hosted by) a computer server by means of DNS (Domain Name Servers). That is, the files that comprise the website are saved on this hosting server. When one calls upon a domain name URL (Uniform Resource Locator), those files are served up by the computer which is hosting that website.
